This Southwest, horse necklace is a beautiful leopard jasper jewelry gift for her. For a horse lover or cowgirl jewelry this silver necklace with leather and natural stone will be a fabulous gift for wife or gift for girlfriend. I hand made this in its entirety in my California studio, and, I must confess, I had not intended this necklace to be a horse, but realized what a beautiful mare she was after I completed the piece and added the patina. The flower at her forehead features a tiny gold ball at its center. She is made of fine silver .999 pure.
She measures 2.5" from the top of the circles connecting the leather to the tip of her nose and she is 1.5" at the widest. She hangs from a buttery soft chocolate leather strip which is 22" long with a front clasp featuring the wildflower bud toggle, same as the buds holding the snuggly in place. I gathered and molded both the wildflowers and tiny ginkgo leaves which form the flower's petals myself.
If you would prefer the leather strip shorter, just let me know. As it is, it hangs at about mid-chest level. I am also able to switch to sterling silver .925 chain if you prefer, please ask about the various chains in stock, and the added cost.
All jewelry is gift boxed with ribbon ready for giving!
I am always happy to do custom work, please just ask!
